The original title for the LP was to have been The Gas Chair Clowns, but Factory made an executive decision to drop the Clowns. Gas Chair Clowns is an anagram of Crawling Chaos. The artwork was chosen by Factory Benelux (i.ee Crépuscule), not Factory (thanks to James Nice). This LP has now been reissued on CD via LTM / Boutique, with the Factory single (Sex Machine / Berlin) as an extra track.
